How to make succulent Teriyaki salmon bites
Ingredients you will need
- Salmon, cut into cubes
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Adobo all purpose
- Onion powder
- Paprika
- Garlic pepper (I used the Lawrys brand)
- Teriyaki sauce (I used kikkoman teriyaki baste and glaze )
- Honey
- Sriracha
- Chili garlic sauce
- Green onion , chopped (optional garnish)
Preparing the Salmon
Step1
Cut the salmon into bite-size chunks, that are about an inch in cubes. You can leave the skin on or remove it if you like.
Step2
Season your salmon chunks with all your dry spices and ensure that every chunk is coated with the seasoning.

Cooking the Salmon bites
Step 3
On medium-high heat, heat the skillet and olive oil. You are welcome to use a stick of butter instead. Cook the seasoned salmon chunks for about 2 – 3 minutes on each side or just until they are all cooked.
Preparing the Honey Teriyaki sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, add Teriyaki sauce, honey, sriracha, and chili garlic sauce. Bring the sauce to a simmer for 2 to 3 minutes while stirring frequently. Once the sauce is ready you can pour the sauce over the salmon bites and garnish with green onion or fresh parsley.

Recipe variation and add-ons
- Skip the Teriyaki sauce and mix together Mayo, sweet chili sauce and Sriracha hot chili sauce then drizzle over your cooked salmon cubes.
- Add a creamy twist to garlic butter salmon bites by adding heavy cream to your garlic butter sauce.
Expert Tips
- Cut your salmon into equal sizes so they can all cook at the same time. At about an inch each
- If you can, it will be beneficial to marinate the salmon bites with seasoning and a bit of teriyaki sauce for about 30 minutes before cooking them.
- Don’t cook these Asian salmon bites on high heat as they might burn while still not thoroughly cooked.
Storage and reheating
Put your leftover teriyaki salmon bites in an airtight container and they can stay in the fridge for up to 4 days.
To store for a longer period, wrap them in aluminum foil and then into an airtight container. They can stay in the freezer for up to 3 months.
To reheat you can use the skillet, oven and air fryer to warm them. The good thing about warming them with the air fryer is that you can warm them from frozen, no need to thaw them.
