Oven Jamaican Jerk salmon is such a vibe! This jerk salmon recipe can be used for weeknight dinners, holidays, meal preps, and everything in between.

This Jamaican Jerk Salmon recipe is made with a ready made jerk seasoning, which saves you time in the kitchen. Traditional Jamaican jerk seasoning can be made from scratch, however I love sharing time saving recipes so I used a ready made jerk seasoning . Even though we are using jar Jamaican jerk seasoning, the flavor is still amazing!

Shopping list –

2 pounds of center cut salmon

3 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

2 tablespoon Walkerswood wet jerk seasoning (I used mild)

1 teaspoon dark brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon Glam Kitchen adobo all purpose seasoning

1 teaspoon Badia complete seasoning

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 tablespoon garlic paste

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Is this Jamaican Jerk recipe spicy ?

I used Walkerwoods mild jerk seasoning, however if you like spicy food you can purchase the spicy version of this seasoning

How long do you cook salmon in the oven?

For this recipe I baked the salmon at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes then broiled it to get a nice color for 5 minutes

What side dishes can you serve Jamaican Jerk salmon with ?

Rice and peas , salad, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, pigeon peas and rice , etc

Ingredients

2 pounds of center cut salmon

3 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

2 tablespoon Walkerswood wet jerk seasoning (I used mild)

1 teaspoon dark brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon Glam Kitchen adobo all purpose seasoning

1 teaspoon Badia complete seasoning

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 tablespoon garlic paste

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Lime, sliced (optional garnish)

Green onion, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2 In a small bowl add olive oil, Walkerswood jerk , brown sugar, adobo all purpose, Badia complete, onion powder, paprika, and garlic paste – mix well until fully combined.

3 Add salmon filet to a large bowl and pour in the seasoned jerk mixture.

4 Rub the jerk mixture over the salmon filet until it is evenly coated and set aside (let this marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour).

5 Line a baking sheet with a sheet of aluminum foil and lightly spray with cooking non stick spray

6 Add the salmon filet to the baking sheet

7.Bake for 10-12 minutes

8.Remove from oven and spoon 4 tablespoons of melted butter over the filet

9.Return to the oven and broil for 5 minutes or until it has your desired color

10. Remove from heat, serve and enjoy !
