Glam Kitchen Tip-use real, unsalted butter and fresh lemon juice if possible
Add your lemon pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and olive oil to the salmon fillet
Mix well so that the seasonings evenly coat the salmon fillet
Add foil to a baking dish (make sure the sides are raised)
Combine melted butter and fresh lemon juice
Spoon the lemon butter over the salmon and bake at 400 degrees
Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices (optional)

I served this with rice and broccolini, but mashed potatoes would also really set these flavors off!

Serves 4

Ingredients

2 pound salmon fillet

1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning

1 +1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

4 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoon lemon juice

Lemon slices (optional garnish)

Fresh parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2.In a bowl, add the salmon fillet, lemon pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and extra virgin olive oil – then rub the seasoning over the salmon until it is evenly coated on both sides-set aside (optional-let this marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour).

3.Line a baking sheet with a sheet of aluminum foil and raise the edges of the foil (so that the lemon butter sauce will be contained in the foil)

4.In a small bowl combine melted unsalted butter and lemon juice

5.Place the seasoned salmon fillet on the baking sheet, and spoon the lemon butter sauce over the salmon

6.Bake for about 12 minutes, depending on the thickness of your salmon

7.Broil for about 3-4 minutes or until it has your desired color (fish is fully cooked when the internal temperature has reached 145 degrees F)

8.Remove from oven, garnish with parsley and lemon slices (optional), serve, and enjoy!
