As Valentines Day approaches, I wanted to share a lit recipe so that you can cook a delicious meal for your bae instead of going out to eat and waiting a few hours to be seated. Home cooked meals are much more intimate as well as cost efficient. Usually the week before Valentine’s Day , your local grocer will have steaks and seafood at a lower price. My local grocer had ribeye for $5.77 a pound which is an amazing buy. I was able to get 2 ribeye steaks and shrimp for about $25, now imagine the cost of that at a fancy steakhouse! I suggest pairing this recipe with my Lemon Garlic Roasted Asparagus and Creamy + Dreamy Steakhouse Mashed Potatoes . So as with all the other recipes I have posted, make it and enjoy! Hello and good day! How much salt black pepper onion and garlic should be put per steak?
Hi, it’s to your liking for the seasonings I would recommend maybe 1/8 teaspoon pepper , 1 teaspoon onion ans garlic each and salt to your liking
Hello. I made The marinade and tasted it before putting it on the steaks and it was very strong taste more like Mustard & lemon more than anything. Is this what it should taste or did I do Something wrong? I followed all measurements.
Hi this marinade is just a marinade and it should compliment the flavors of the steak after you cook it , I don’t eat it prior to cooking it however the steak should turn out delish once it’s done
Yes she is correct, I use this marinade all the time you won’t taste the mustard on the steak if that’s what your worried about.
