My latest recipe for Southwest baked chicken wings is truly top tier. I have been trying to eat cleaner (your girl is on a whole weight loss journey mmkay), and so I have been looking for ways to eat better but still have delicious flavors. And chile, this recipe checks all boxes.

Baked chicken wings are definitely a vibe any day of the week. This recipe combines Southwest seasonings and whole chicken wings to create a delicious meat option for your meal preps, lunches, or dinners.

This recipe is simple yet significant- and I know y’all are going to love it 

Glam Kitchen Tips

  • Make sure you clean and pat chicken dry with a paper towel before seasoning them 
  • I used whole wings, but if you prefer cut up chicken wings feel free to use what you have

Shopping List

3 pound whole chicken wings

All purpose seasoning

Badia complete seasoning

Garlic powder

Onion powder

Cayenne powder

Chili powder

Brown sugar

Fresh lime juice

Extra virgin olive oil

Fresh Cilantro (optional garnish)

Lime slices (optional garnish)

In a large bowl combine chicken wings, all purpose seasoning, complete seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder,cayenne, chili powder, brown sugar, lime juice, and olive oil
Mix well until all chicken wings are evenly coated with the seasoning
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Add the seasoned chicken wings to a deep, oven safe baking dish
Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime slices (optional), serve , and enjoy your top tier Southwest wings!

Serves 4-6

Ingredients

3 pound whole chicken wings (cleaned and pat dry)

3/4 teaspoon adobo all purpose

1 teaspoon Badia complete seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder

1 + 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 tablespoon brown sugar

1/2 tablespoon fresh lime juice

2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Cilantro (optional garnish)

Lime (optional garnish)

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2.In a large bowl combine chicken wings, all purpose seasoning, complete seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder,cayenne, chili powder, brown sugar, lime juice, and olive oil- mix well until all chicken wings are evenly coated with the seasoning

3.Add the seasoned chicken wings to a deep, oven safe baking dish.

4.Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes (or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F)

5.Remove from oven , baste with pan juice and garnish with limes and cilantro.

6.Serve and enjoy !
