This recipe is going to be your new favorite way to make mashed potatoes. It is inspired by my love for decadent steak house sides , but my shade for the hefty price tag. You do not have to spend $12 for a side of mashed potatoes, this recipe will yield you about 4-6 servings for less than that. This pairs well with my Lemon Thyme Butter Steak recipe. Enjoy !

Hi, about how much garlic powder would you recommend? I’ve tried roasting garlic cloves and adding it to mashed potatoes but seasoning seems so much easier, assuming it doesn’t compromise the taste? Thanks!!
Hi, I would probably start with a teaspoon and go from there. Normally I don’t measure but I would take it a teaspoon at a time and then season to your taste
So with this recipe, we don’t peel the potatoes?
I leave the skin on but you can peel if you’d like ❤️
Thanks for the recipe could I melt the butter hun ?
Yes you can and you’re welcome ❤️
Hi, can you use russet potatoes instead of red?
Hi, yes you can
