My mother came to visit a few weeks ago and I had planned on taking her out to eat but her flight was delayed. So while I waited on her to let me know a definite time that she would be arriving I was like “well I guess I’ll cook something quick and tasty”. It needed to be quick because I didn’t have time to be in the kitchen for a long time but it also needed to be delicious because it was for my most favorite person in the world. And that my friends is how the bbq Jerk Chicken Sauté recipe was born. I literally used what I had on hand and it came out so good! This can be made for a weeknight meal or as a meal prep. I served it with mashed potatoes but you can also serve it with my yellow rice or rice and peas recipe. As always , if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to me!

Hey, I don’t have dry jerk seasoning on hand. Is it ok to use the one that comes in the jar?
Yes just use only about 1 tablespoon
Thank you so much for this recipe ❤ Which bbq sauce did you use ?
You’re welcome -sweet baby rays ❤️
Measurements for garlic powder, onion powder , dried jerk seasoning , black pepper, Paprika and Adobo all purpose seasoning ?? Any suggestions
I leave the seasoning amount to the home cook to be their preference . But I would probably say start with 1 teaspoon if you aren’t comfortable sprinkling it on
I made this last night and it was SO good! We had it over white rice and I also added some red onions with the peppers because I had some to use up. Amazing recipe, thank you Shauntay!
