I ordered take out from a popular Japanese Steakhouse last week and I always order the same thing. A large side of chicken fried rice and their appetizer hibachi shrimp. Well for about 2 cups of rice and 8 shrimp I paid $20, and as much I like the food there it hit me that I can make a lot more of that at home for around the same price. And that is how this recipe idea was born. Why spend $80 for surf and turf for 2 at a Japanese Steakhouse when you can make it at home for half the price? Enjoy the recipe as always, let me know how you like it.

I am making these recipes tonight, and i know it will be fantastic; i just need to ask at what point do I chop the steak? I see its chopped o your plate, but I don’t see when should chop it when i read the recipe. My gut says to chop it before I add it to the wok, so I hope I’m right. Cant wait to eat this feast
Hi, thank you so much – and you’re gonna chop the steak before you season it and add it to the skillet . I will update it
