How to make Baked Barbecue Chicken Thighs
Add the seasoned chicken thighs to a large, deep baking dish
Bake uncovered for 1 hour and 10-20 minutes
Ingredients
3 pound bone in skin on chicken thighs, cleaned and pat dry
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 + 1/2 teaspoon all purpose seasoning
1 teaspoon complete seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 + 1/2 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
1/4 cup honey (optional)
Baked at 375 degrees for 1 hour 10-20 minutes (baste every 20 minutes)
Instructions
1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2.In a large deep bowl, add chicken thighs, olive oil, all purpose seasoning, complete seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and thyme – mix well until thighs are evenly coated with seasonings.
3.Add the seasoned chicken thighs to a large, deep baking dish.
4.In a small bowl, combine your favorite bbq sauce and honey (optional step)
5.Add barbecue sauce to seasoned chicken
6.Bake uncovered for 1 hour and 10-20 minutes (baste your chicken every 20 minutes) or until the internal temperature has reached 165 degrees.
7.Remove from oven , baste a final time, serve, and enjoy !
