Chile, these Air Fryer Blackened salmon filets are the perfect weeknight dinner option. When it comes to me using my air fryer, salmon is one of the meats that is always in heavy rotation. Not only is it a delicious meal, but it also doesn’t take a lot of time.
The air fryer gives them a crispy outside while keeping the inside juicy and flaky. Plus, it’s ready in just 15 minutes!

Center cut salmon filets
Blackened seasoning (I used the Cajuns choice brand)
Badia Complete seasoning
Garlic powder
Paprika
Unsalted butter
Fresh lemon juice


Season salmon filets with blackened seasoning, complete seasoning, garlic powder, and paprika- mix well so that the salmon filets are evenly coated with the seasoning


Air fry on 390 degrees for 9-12 minutes depending on thickness of filets and desired doneness (spoon the lemon butter sauce on the filets the last 2 minutes of the cook time)


Ingredients
2 (8 ounce ) center cut salmon filets
2 teaspoon blackened seasoning (I used the Cajuns choice brand)
1 teaspoon complete seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Optional butter sauce
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
1. Preheat air fryer to 390 degrees and spray air fryer basket or air fryer liner with olive oil non stick spray
2.Season salmon filets with blackened seasoning, complete seasoning, garlic powder, and paprika- mix well so that the salmon filets are evenly coated with the seasoning
3. Air fry on 390 degrees for 9-12 minutes depending on thickness of filets and desired doneness (fish is considered fully cooked when the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees)
4.Combine the unsalted butter and lemon juice and spoon over the salmon filets the last 2 minutes of the cook time
5.Remove from air fryer, serve, and enjoy !
