Lemon Pepper Summer Corn

To me, sides can really make or break any barbecue or cookout. Today is the Fourth of July and this corn recipe is the perfect addition to any family gathering you may be attending this summer. Fresh corn is a summer vegetable that is simply delicious! And with it’s quick cook time, you’re sure to have a tasty side on the table in under 25 minutes. Glam Kitchen Tips

  • I cut snap my cobs in half but you can leave them whole if you’d like
  • Use real butter and not margarine

Ingredients

  • 6-8 ears of fresh corn on the cob
  • 7 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • Pink Himalayan salt
  • Ground Black pepper
  • Lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water, milk, and sugar to a boil
  2. Add corn and allow it to cook for 10-20 minutes on high heat
  3. Remove corn from water and arrange in a pan or serving platter
  4. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and lemon pepper seasonings
  5. In a small bowl , melt the butter and add lemon juice then stir well
  6. Spoon or pour the lemon butter mixture over the corn and serve !
