Sweet Chili Salmon

Course: Main Course

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound salmon cut into 2-3 pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • pink salt
  • ground black pepper
  • paprika
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce low or reduced sodium

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl combine sweet chili sauce , honey, and soy sauce -mix well and set aside
  2. Season both sides of the salmon with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium high heat
  4. lace the salmon skin side up in the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked through
  5. Remove the salmon from the pan and place on a plate. Cover with foil to keep warm (optional)
  6. In a small sauce pan add the sauce mixture and allow it to simmer for 3-4 minutes on medium high heat
  7. Spoon glaze over salmon and serve !
