Heat a deep fryer or large pot of vegetable oil
In a large resealable bag add flour , seasoning salt , pepper, garlic powder , and onion powder - shake well
In a large bowl add the chicken strips , buttermilk , and egg - mix well so that chicken is fully coated
Let the chicken sit in buttermilk mixture for 5 minutes
Place chicken strips in resealable bag, seal the bag, and shake until fully coated with seasoned flour (I did this in batches of 4-5 strips at a time )
Add chicken breast to hot oil and fry for 4-6 minutes or until fully cooked
Remove from oil and transfer to a paper towel lined plate or a baking rack with paper towel under it
Serve and enjoy !
