‘Tis the season to eat delicious meals! I can’t believe that the holidays are already here (even though 2020 has been the craziest year ). Thanksgiving and Christmas are hands down my favorite holidays and with that in mind , I wanted to make sure that the Glam Kitchen Gang has the perfect recipes for this time of the year. My recipe for lemon garlic herb spatchcock chicken is absolutely delicious. It combines my new seasonings (order at ) , garlic cloves , red onion , bell pepper, and lemon slices to make one of the tastiest whole chickens you will ever make. I paired this with Steakhouse White Mac & Cheese and Asiago Parmesan Creamed Spinach . As always , please let me know what you think of the recipe, and enjoy !

Glam Kitchen Tips


  • 1 whole chicken , cut spatchcock / butterflied
  • 1 teaspoon Glam Kitchen adobo all purpose seasoning (order at )
  • 2 teaspoon Glam kitchen lemon garlic herb seasoning (order at )
  • 1 medium red onion , cut into chunks
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 6 garlic cloves , cut into halves
  • 1 /2 large lemon, cut into slices
  • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

2. Season back of chicken with 1/2 teaspoon all purpose seasoning and 1 teaspoon lemon garlic herb

3. Season front of chicken with 1/2 teaspoon all purpose seasoning and 1 teaspoon lemon garlic herb

4. Arrange red onion , red bell pepper, garlic, and lemon slices around the seasoned chicken

5. Pour in chicken broth around the chicken

6. Bake for 45 minutes – basting every 15 minutes with the pan juices

7. Increase oven temperature to 400 degrees and bake for another 35-45 minutes depending on the size of your chicken (continue to baste every 10 -15 minutes )

8. Remove from oven

9. Allow chicken to rest for 5 -10 minutes

10. Serve and enjoy !
