Shrimp 4 Pepper Queso Dip #AD

You need an appetizer that is quick but delicious this holiday season…one that is packed with freshness and flavor. Look no further – this Shrimp 4 Pepper Queso dip recipe is a crowd pleaser! Yo Quiero brands has a line of queso  and other great products that is fresh , high quality , and great tasting.  Texas foodies , this Queso was purchased from my local Tom Thumb grocery store and is also available at Albertsons and Randall’s.


  • 2 (12 ounce ) 4 Pepper Yo Quiero Queso
  • 1 pound  large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined 
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon red onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Roma tomato, diced
  • 12 tablespoon jalapeño (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon Colby jack cheese , shredded 


  1. In a bowl, season shrimp with chili powder, paprika, and Cajun seasoning-mix well and set aside 
  2. Add olive oil to a large skillet and heat for 1-2 minutes on medium high heat 
  3. Cook shrimp on each side for 2-3 minutes 
  4. Remove from heat and drain on a paper towel
  5. Prepare Queso according to packaging 
  6. Pour heated queao in a large serving bowl
  7. Garnish with onion, cilantro , tomato , jalapeño, and cheese
  8. Arrange shrimp over top of the dip
  9. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy !
