Rum N Coke Chicken Wings

I scream , you scream , we all scream for – CHICKEN WINGS ! If you know me then you know that I just love chicken wings. They can be an appetizer or a main course meat. This chicken wing recipe combines one of my favorite cocktail ingredients with one of my fave cuts of meat. It’s holiday season and that means that you have countless events to attend that involve food. These chicken wings are the perfect appetizer to prepare for your guest if you are hosting or to take with you if you are someone else’s guest. My Rum N Coke Chicken wings are oven baked and finished with a sweet sauce that includes barbecue sauce , rum , Coca Cola and honey. As always , please let me know how they turn out for you !   • 1.5-2 pound chicken wings
  • Adobo all purpose seasoning
  • Ground black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Paprika
  • 1 cup your favorite bbq sauce ( I used Sweet Baby Ray’s)
  • 1/4 cup Coca Cola
  • 2 tablespoon dark rum
  • 1 tablespoon honey


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Generously season chicken wings with adobo, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika
  3. Mix well so that all of the chicken wings are coated with seasoning
  4. Spray a pan with non stick spray
  5. Arrange chicken wings in the pan
  6. Bake the chicken wings for 50-55 minutes or until fully cooked
  7. In a small bowl mix the bbq sauce , cocoa cola , rum and honey
  8. In a small saucepan let the sauce simmer on medium low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
  9. Toss wings in rum sauce so that all wings are coated in the sauce
  10. Serve and enjoy !

  2. Hi, I don’t measure but I would probably guess about 1 teaspoon of the seasonings and only 1/8 teaspoon of the black pepper just as a guesstimate
