- Adobo seasoning
- Black pepper
- Lemon pepper seasoning (I used the McCormick brand )
- Garlic powder
- Paprika
- 6 cloves garlic , chopped
- 1 large lemon (cut into half)
- 5 springs fresh rosemary
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. Cut the whole chicken in half (use kitchen scissors it’s my go to method for cutting a whole chicken-I cut the back bone out then cut it vertical down the breast bone)
3. Lay the chicken down on the breast bone and season the backside with adobo, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and lemon pepper seasoning
4. Squeeze juice from the half of lemon over the chicken
5. Turn the chicken over (the breast should be facing up now) and season it with the same seasonings in step 2
6. Squeeze lemon juice from the same lemon half in step 3 and drizzle the olive oil over the chicken
7. Slice the other half of the lemon into pieces, and arrange it around the chicken with rosemary and the chopped garlic
8. Place chicken in the oven and bake for 35 minutes (baste every 10-15 minutes )

Hi! It would be extremely useful if you added measurements for the spices. Thank you.
Hi, to me seasoning is very personal so that’s why I don’t add them. I would suggest starting with 1 teaspoon of each and working your way up of you prefer more. I would also just recommend lightly sprinkling each seasoning until you find what amounts of seasoning best fits your taste buds. Thank you ❤️
This was everything. The chicken came out so good.
Thank you !!!
did you use the perfect pinch McCormick lemon pepper seasoning?
